your Long & Short term Care

Short Term Care

Short Term Care

Short Term Care

Affordable, immediate coverage to bridge the gaps that Medicare leaves behind.

Many people assume that Medicare or traditional health insurance will cover help around the house or an assisted living stay if they get sick or injured. Unfortunately, it doesn't. Traditional health plans cover only medical care, leaving you to pay out of pocket for daily assistance.

  • Home health care (including paid aides or, in some policies, friends and family)
  • Assisted living facilities
  • Nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities
  • Adult day care and hospice care

Short- and Long-Term Care Difference

WHAT IS THE MAIN DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SHORT-TERM AND LONG-TERM CARE INSURANCE?

  • Short-Term Care: Covers your care expenses for 12 months or less, features a 0-day waiting period, and is highly affordable.

  • Long-Term Care: Covers your care expenses for multiple years, requires a 90-day out-of-pocket waiting period, and has high premiums.
